Megan has grown up with cats as pets, and most recently adopted Eloise in 2023.
One of the places Megan fell in love with Journalism was the Newseum, which used to be in Washington, D.C.

Megan Talley is currently a producer at WTAE-TV, Pittsburgh's Action News Four, in Pittsburgh, PA. Megan began as the lead on the morning show from July 2023-September 2024, and in October 2024 moved into the position of 6 p.m. producer. It was here she covered major flooding events and the Assassination Attempt of Former President Trump in Butler.
Before taking that role, Megan worked as a producer at WHTM-abc27 in Harrisburg from February 2022-June 2023. She was nominated for a Mid-Atlantic Emmy Award for her newscast covering the historic moment a woman took on the role of Speaker of the House in the PA Capitol. She also worked with the digital team at abc27 from May 2021-February 2022, finding engaging stories for Midstate readers for the website, while also following SEO and AP Style practices.
Megan was a Communication/Journalism student at Shippensburg University of PA, accredited by the Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communications (ACEJMC), where she graduated Summa Cum Laude in May 2021. From the moment she stepped on campus, Megan became involved with SUTV News, later stepping into leadership, producer, and on-air roles.
Megan was also an intern with Shippensburg University's Office of Communications and Marketing, working to research and pitch feature stories during the hardships and uncertainties of the COVID-19 pandemic.
From Boiling Springs, PA, Megan enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, seeing Broadway musicals, and relaxing with her cat.
