Megan produced this A-block, being called in on short notice after an event in Butler County that changed the political landscape, the Assassination Attempt of then-Former President Donald Trump during his rally in Butler. One person died and 2 people were hurt, as well as Trump, when a gunman fired shots from a roof not far from Trump's stage. Air Date: 7/14/2024
Megan produced this A-Block on breaking news out of Monroeville, Allegheny County. This newscast was the morning after a Monroeville police officer was shot in the line of duty. It was the second officer shot from that community in a short time span.

Megan produced this A-Block on a busy political and sports day in PA. The Democrats were able to keep a slim majority in the PA House, and Girl's Wrestling was officially being recognized as a sport by the PIAA after years of campaigning for its addition.

Sports Producing
In Megan's time at WTAE, she had the opportunity to work with one of her anchors/sports reporters for morning sports content. Some of that included a "Monday Morning Quarterback" segment, March Madness in Pittsburgh/Duquesne's shocking advancement in March Madness, and the different local connections in national sports headlines.

Megan shot, produced and edited this package on a new podcast created by Ship professors, Alison Dagnes and Lawrence Eppard. "Utterly Moderate: The Opposite of Cable News" is a podcast made to give only facts with guest experts both in Ship, and beyond. Interview conducted via Zoom.

On the eve of November 3rd, SUTV hosted live coverage for the 2020 Election to report about how it has affected students and faculty, as well as report results as they came in. Megan served as the Chief Shippensburg Correspondent, using her research and interviews with students and faculty to create three live reports during the night. Interviews were conducted both in-person and over Zoom, and all VO is shot by Megan. These were all in anticipation for the premiere of her documentary, SU Votes: The 2020 Election.
